The Adventures of Lina and Miles

Trenton gave Lina and Miles a once over as he considered the two. It was clear he was unhappy about the death of his brother. It was also clear that he held a suspicion towards the two Star Fleet Officers.

"I don't know who the two of you are, and whether or not you're in cahoots with him," he indicated to Nico. "I can assure you, however, that any interference in discovering the murderer of my brother will be dealt with...severely...and the weight of the Valentines will crash heavily on those who would dare." After having his say, Trenton turned away from the two as he returned to his sister's side.

Though clearly still some tension among siblings, they seemed to accept one another's presence given the circumstances. Miles sighed as they stepped away from the siblings before speaking in lower tones to Lina.

"It appears whatever we do, we need to tread carefully," he said. Shortly after, a noticeable hue of blue and red flashed through the windows, and medical staff and law enforcement entered the building, with the law enforcement being led by someone who was clearly a detective of sorts.
