Evie knew exactly what she was doing going into this, she was interested in him. She just wasn't sure if he was interested in her, an answer soon answered. The surprising parts for her was Evie grew up in a pub, she always knew when people approached or even when they got close. In this case she was completely oblivious, she had a gasp as Gath put his hands on her hips resting just under her rib cage. Evie was kissing him back with her eyes closed, for what seemed to her like a long time Evie was completely speechless.
His grip on her was both firm but gentle, it wasn't shocking to her at all that Gath put them in the perfect positions. Right when he put them on her Gath could see her pupils dilate a little, after they were open from the kiss they were in full dilation.
She tried to talk again with a voice that was a little louder than a whisper for the first two words, but after that wasn't much louder. "Yes you can tell a lot from a kiss, it is even one of the deadliest force out there when you mean it." Evie suddenly had a curious look on her face, something felt different about her ring.
The thing about growing up in a pub included being aware of pickpockets, or people who could slide jewelry off of a persons body completely. She was aware that somehow Gath slipped off her ring and placed it back in now the correct direction, the heart was now pointing inward. The significance of this meant that she was now she wasn't available. At most she was in a relationship with someone, or at very least her heart was taken.
She was about to say Mr. stopping before she even said it. "After this I have no business calling you Mr., just like where your hands have been you can no longer refer to me as mam." It was just one of those rules. "My parents will love you as my brothers would, they tolerated my last one." The thought of him coming home to meet the parents did bring a smile to her face. "I would warn you about my family being abrasive, loud, and quick to fight just for the sake of fighting. I have a feeling in a way its not much different with you, so both could feel right at home." Evie knew that there wasn't enough time to talk to her sister, she was out of communication until she arrived.
