Kalli paused for a moment, then said, "Program, can you verify the area it tectonicly stable, but cave in risk is due to loose ground and ground water activity?  I suspect a combination of loose rock and dirt layered with sporadic solid rock features. If we have a map, we likely have a soil stability scan that determined the risk of shuttle activity. A sheer cliff indicates some solid stone geology, but lots of water indicates erosive ground water flow."

While the program responded, she looked closer at the holographic display to see the scale and slopes of the passages. She wanted to determine how far the vehicles might be of use and how much actual spelunking they would need to do.
