A single Class One probe didn't have the power generation to disable a ship's warp drive, unless you rammed it straight into a plasma vent.
The CDS Os'rusa was a ship with a long history. Believed to have been constructed during the Border Wars of the 2350s and 60s, it served as a standard Galor-class Destroyer/Cruiser through the Dominion War, where it was heavily damaged during Operation Return by the direct predecessor of the current USS Yeager.
No mention of it was made for the next thirty years, until it arrived in its new form as a Keldon-class Battlecruiser, as part of a border patrol during what was becoming known as 'The Franklin Incident', in which it was disabled by the current USS Yeager. The Os'rusa then appeared in the Wairara system, interrupting a race being held as a diplomatic overture. That race had also involved the Yeager.
Specifics, such as what had transpired during the incidents, and the known crew and combat capabilities of the Os'rusa, were restricted.

While there was no immediate source of a cloaked signal or tracker broadcasting to the Os'rusa, it couldn't be ruled out. Tomer had had the run of the ship, and there simply hadn't been time to do much more than a surface-level inspection of non-critical systems to check for tampering.
None of the Cardassians seemed to be changing course, however.

Passive sensors detected a second warp translation, about ten thousand kilometers behind the Os'rusa and her group. While the energy pattern triggered no immediate recognition in the Yeager's databanks, the sheer scale of the energy surge meant that whatever had just arrived was big. Very big.
