Reyna leaned in a little closer and dropped the volume of her voice to almost a conspiratorial level, "Okay, as a matter of full disclosure, I'm more Betazoid than Human. Frankly, I don't really understand what all the fuss is about seeing people without clothes on. Once you are able to see into the minds of other people, seeing them physically vulnerable is really something you barely notice. The only reason I avoid it is because of how most people are brought up to culturally sexualize appearances. Beno has been wonderful about the entire thing and she's taught me so much. I don't think I should go into too much detail about that aspect of myself yet, but I think you should, first and foremost, shed the idea that you know what to expect from me based on my age or appearance. My educational level is quite likely on par with someone in their second year of university or academy. It's people that I'm still learning about from experience. I know textbook information, but it is the application and field training that I'm only a few years into now. Don't try to wrap your head around it too much or you'll only hurt yourself."
She sat back and then returned to a normal conversational tone, "So, start thinking of who you would want to see in the mirror. Feel free to include how you want to feel about yourself and why. I have no desire to try and judge your choices, only to help you feel the way you want to feel. After all, that empathic part is really the key element here, isn't it? You know what you want to feel like and only you know what you think might help you feel that way. We start with that. The best part is that if you realise that it wasn't really what you wanted after all, then we can change it. This can be a bit like dress shopping, which mom taught me a bit about when you saw us out and about. Think about those things while we walk and I can integrate those things when we get there. Don't worry, I'm not going to dig around in your mind or anything, I'm just going to try and pick up on what you're openly thinking about, including images you might imagine about yourself."
She stood up and leaned closer again, "Since you thought about what you look like in the mirror already, you've actually shown me what you look like without your clothes on, however, if it will make you feel better, I am happy to give you the privacy of turning my back to you, if it helps your piece of mind." She then gestured toward the door and added, "Please lead on, fair prince."
She looked at Thor and said, "Ping two and have it engage us enroute."
Thor gave a small huff and he fell in behind her. She then said to Jason, "Oh, and for the record, my dog isn't a dog either." She scratched him behind an ear and smiled, "But he does like being a dog."
