Qi nodded, swiping through a series of holographic displays until he arrived at the one he wanted. Typically, the ship’s external sensors were designed to monitor its surroundings, but they could just as easily be used to look at the ship itself. In fact, the sensors were usually programmed to ignore the Yeager itself, which was always the biggest, brightest thing within their field of view. In this particular case, it was actually useful to see the ship as it would appear from the outside.
“A diplomatic incident on day one? That’s rough, but I think I have you beat,” Qi replied, considering Jadaris' story. “The first time I set foot on the Bridge as an ensign was the day the Yoritomo was destroyed.
