It was nice to see Coppola happy in having been given this role, he hoped it would be everything the young officer expected and more.
Knowing that the ship would be not long to docking at the space station, Daniel decided to head to the Bridge and observe the other shift bringing her in to dock.
Having given the chance of having these roles two to new officers it was exciting but also reminded him of when he first stepped onto as Acting Chief Medical Officer, in that role you didn't have any command decisions to make you just watched the ship come in, it was something all young officers would dream about and even today that feeling never goes away, of arriving or leaving dock to go on the next mission.
Daniel got up from his seat and walked over to the door, pausing just a moment to straighten his uniform before exiting onto the Bridge.
