Cindy rolled her eyes and smiled, "Ah, I've known people who did that. Yes, it can be problematic if you try to wake them. It's usually best to simply redirect them back to bed. I suspect that they're both a little drained from the mission, but the emotional experience shouldn't be physically draining. I'm sure it was a bit confusing and might have made her feel a touch dizzy at first, but imagine having been blind of deaf and suddenly engaging that sense for the first time. It can be unsettling at first. It doesn't happen with all Betazoids, but I've seen it happen with Alex before. His wife and I often talked about it. Many people are in sync to the point where they finish the other's sentence and so on, but when it is an emotion or a strong thought, it takes a bit of experience with it before you can train your mind to not think it is your own emotions or thoughts. By the time a Betazoid is into their teens, it is all second nature. Alex and his sister were like two sides of the same coin from about the age of four, but they were twins."

I have the engrams of my other version experimenting with relationships, but those are limited to a degree as such emotional moments can become exponential triggers for an evolutionary step that my programming blocks. Either way, how will them being a couple impact your relationship with Beno? Alex isn't territorial or controlling in such matters, so I don't anticipate it being a problem, though Alex is not shy, so it is entirely likely that sooner or later you might see him hesitate in dressing accordingly, so to speak. Hopefully that won't offend you, if it happens."
