Lt Gath brought up the report and nodded approvingly as he read it over. He then forwarded it to the FO and CO.
"Commander Keir, I have forwarded you and the Captain the report by my Security Officer about the latest evaluation of the aliens we have in Sickbay. I add to it only that the suggestion of using a holographic environment to keep them calm and attempting to communicate with them is likely the best option to avoid risk to the ship and crew. It offers the room for them to react almost any way they wish without danger to themselves or others, giving us time to work on other options. If any of them appear to wake up unexpectedly, due to malfunctions or direct interaction, I think the default should be to beam them into an active holographic program as a primary form of containment, so they actually have no sense of being restrained. Make it a simple wilderness program with mild temperatures and acceptably simple but simple surroundings."
