As Keir sat, Lt Gath arrived on the bridge; and made the FO aware of his precautions in sickbay. Keir nodded in assent to his plan to analyze the species and listened to his suggestion to the CTO. Having two such capable bridge officers made for efficiency aboard and Gath's further precautions only added to the young FO's confidence.
Moments later a comm from hir very eager and capable young Midshipman kept the pace of the bridge active and Keir replied "Permission granted, please keep me informed as to your progress and findings, Keir out."
With the immediate needs of the crew taken care of Keir sat and began going through the most recent reports, like many of hir short-lived species Keir detested wasting time
