Gath appeared on the Bridge and as a matter of protocol addressed the person in charge of the Bridge first, "Commander, all is secure with our guest in Sickbay. I have a Security detail standing by there, as a precaution and I'm currently looking into possible strengths and weaknesses in their species, in the event things become unpleasant."
Gath then turned to Powel and said, "Lieutenant Powel, I'm not aware of anyone on the crew specializing in Stellar Cartography, but perhaps your navigation skills might be able to project where their ship was headed. We know their point of origin and where we found them, given their course and speed, even with them encountering misfortune fairly recently, we should have some idea of where their journey might take them. The only factor I don't know how to compensate for is that they appear to have been launched roughly 100,000 years ago, so the margin of error in their calculations might be problematic. Do you think it might be possible to narrow down where they were originally headed?"
Gath looked back to Keir 77 and continued, "If we can find where they were intended to wake up, we might be able to help them finish their mission with as little interaction with them as possible. We can't help the fact that their ship was destroyed, but the Prime Directive should no longer apply to them and it would now be only a matter of avoiding conflict to allow them to go about their original mission. It might certainly have value if they were able to wake up there, rather than on our ship."
