“Oh well you see Chief” A’kilees replied, attempting to explain while being led by Keir 77 to the nearby biobed. “Lieutenant Torock needs someone down in Engineering and with my saurian physiology that means that my teeth will grow back…and…” A’kilees paused for a moment. From the look on the chief’s face, s/he looked like they weren’t going to take any excuse or further explaination for an answer until someone in Medical had a look at his mouth.
“What I mean to say is…is…” he stammered, laughed for a second then cleared his throat looking a little awkward. “I understand Chief. I’ll get to whatever the Lieutenant needs to be done in Engineering after my mouth is fixed.” and quietly slumped down onto the biobed, waiting to be examined.
