Cdr Velaul's comm badge gave the distinct chirp that she had received a priority message. With only a few taps on her PADD, she brought up a menu that showed she had a message from Cindy Talion and it was prioritized in a formal format and even had been encrypted enough to require she input a simple access code to open it, as was normal for a low level classified message. Once she tapped on it, entered her code and scrolled past the official heading, she read the following text:

Given the information available to me, I am aware that it could be very useful to you and any potential meetings with honored guests for you to be aware that Ambassador Jonas is recovering very well from his procedures. He has had time to rest and enjoy some refreshing calories to help him think more clearly. In my professional opinion, it seems that he is quite aware of potential ramifications of events in his life and has come to terms with how things might need to play out in the very near future. I anticipate that he would accept returning to the surface in the care and protection of the potential honored guest, should they find need to proceed with resolving legal issues of concern to a great many individuals. He would likely be exceedingly more cooperative, if his family might be allowed to enjoy a temporary vacation to discover certain Federation Starbase facilities until such time as those legal issues might be resolved.
