Bailey watched as Wright began opening the hatch. The woman was taking her time examining details of the seal.
Bailey turned away to look back along the corridor, then back to Wright and past her to look further down the opposite direction.
She turned her attention back a second later as the thud of someone approaching from the other direction caught her attention in time to see the hulking seven foot form of a Gorn in engineering colours.
"Wait! The engines are still on! You'll flood the deck with engine radiation if you try to get inside of there." He bellowed.
Bailey could feel the sound of his voice reverberating low and deep, ike a saw.
Crescent had seen him around, but when someone of his size is closing down on you, you tend to take a step or three back. It was instinctual.
As he passed by he was giving orders to the computer and and began making a grab for the other woman. Training took over.
“Commander this is an active investigation scene...” She began saying. Not entirely sure what was now going on or if she could physically do anything to stop the reptilian who was none too pleased it seemed with what was going on.
