Life had returned to what Ardanna knew as normal, and that meant her usual shift in Security. While she had escaped relatively unscathed after two away missions in a row, the brunette didn't mind going back to the less adrenaline-filled routine of ensuring that the systems in security remained top-notch with the occasional training scenario mixed in. It also meant talking to her friends, sharing the latest scuttlebutt and trying to think what she would like to do when they were inevitably dismissed for shore leave. Deep down, Ardanna had an idea of what that would entail, but at the same time, she was pretty open to anything.
DS9 had been her stomping ground for so long that at this point, Ardanna wanted to expand, try something new and have fun doing it. Whether that involved a certain Australian ensign she didn't know, and she also wasn't his keeper, so it wouldn't be a big deal if he chose to do something else. If anything, it would give her something to tease him about; however, until then, she settled for getting on with her work, while Artemis took them to their destination. Maybe later, she would go to the lounge or the holodeck, depending on her mood.
Retrieving her coffee cup after pouring herself a second cup, Ardanna moved through the complex, exchanging conversation with those she passed, until she reached her workstation. Sitting down, the security officer accessed the latest system reports, reviewing them with precision as she sipped her coffee.
