With their break long over, Petra and Owen had returned to work, monitoring the situation and the sensors as any good scientist would, watching and commenting when the Artemis destroyed the Klingon freighter, before moving into the heart of the nebula. While the rest of the science team didn't know the specifics as to why this had happened, they were able to keep abreast of the information Aeryn chose to send them. Particularly, what they had come across, a world that almost didn't belong, but it was there for all to see.
" This can't be a coincidence," remarked Owen as he looked at the visuals, wondering what they had stumbled on.
" Yeah, I have to agree, something isn't quite right, no doubt we'll get to know when the Chief needs us".
Then came the request to stand by from the Bridge, directly from Miller herself, which Petra quickly acknowledged, before telling Owen and the others who were present.
" I guess we'll find out soon enough".
" We will," answered Petra as the team waited for further instructions, while continuing to do their jobs.
