The ship was docked at the Sol starbase and Ameen took advantage of this time to catch up on some work.

Ah yes... crew rotation means new personnel files to review and assign...

One, in particular, caught his attention.

Hmm...  Michael Brennan... a new engineering Midshipman... good grades in the academy, and showing a lot of promise... maybe it is time we had a chat...

"Computer." The ship replied with its usual "standing-by" chirp. "Open a ship-wide channel."

[Channel Open.] Replied the Titania. 

"Midshipman Michael Brennan report to the first officer's office," Ameen said.
